Prashant Ranganathan Won Intel International Science Award 2017 In US
This is a proud moment to all Indians that an Indian Won Intel International Science Award 2017 In US. On 20 May 2017 Prashant Ranganathan Won world’s largest Pre college Science Competition”the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in united state. Prashant Ranganathan Belongs to Jamshedpur Jharkhand, India. The category in which he won the award is Environmental Engineering. He made a project over this category and made on Bio degradation of Chlorpyrifos using native bacteria. Prashant Ranganathan said that his project will help to all farmers of India in bio degrading pesticides which is plaguing the country. In this age where students use to play and fun but He developed a technique which will help all the farmers. In this award ceremony four indian origin American students also participated and get award. There were total 1700 students across the world

Many of Indian States like Bihar, Uttarpradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab have extensive farming and many other sates depends on them. Using different kind of Pesticides there are many harmful effects on crop as well as on our environment so to reduce the use of pesticides he developed new technique to come over this problem.
