9th International Regulatory Cooperation for Herbal Medicines

International Regulatory Cooperation for Herbal Medicines (IRCH) has begun their 9th annual meeting in New Delhi. The meeting is organized by The Ministry of AYUSH.

36 delegates from 19 member countries including experts from WHO Headquarters, Geneva are participating in meeting.

India & UK Sign MoU on IPRS

India & UK Sign MoU on IPRS

An MoU has signed between India And UK to create a bilateral cooperation activities in the field of Intellectual Property. This is done to create a flexible framework through which both countries can exchange best practices and work together on technical exchanges to raise awareness.

The MoU is to be signed between Intellectual Property Office of the United Kingdom (UKIPO) and  Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP).

Airborne lasers to throw light on Rajgir’s history

To survey the archaeological evidence, flora and fauna in the ancient Rajgir hills in Bihar the Archaeologists are planning to deploy high-end scanning lasers on airborne platforms .

Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) is to be used by the Rajgir Archaeological Survey Project (RASP), archaeologists which is a remote-sensing technique that uses laser light to sample the surface of the earth.

Seventh session of the Conference of the Parties (COP7)

Conference of the Parties (COP) has organizing their seventh session in New Delhi. It is the first time that this meeting is been held in India.
