1. 3 state bills of Maharashtra and Gujarat get President’s nod.

President Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to 3 state bill on 2 September 2018. these bills are related to Maharashtra and Gujarat.

 2.According to UN World Tourism Organisation India leads growth in international tourism from South Asian region.

According to the report of UNWTO( UN World Tourism Organisation ), international tourism hits a record high of 1,323 million international tourist arrivals across the globe in 2017.

3.The first woman Tahira Safdar took the position of Chief Justice of Balochistan high court of Pakistan.

The first woman Justice Syeda Tahira Safdar took the position of Chief Justice of Balochistan high court of Pakistan.Justice Tahira Safdar was sworn in as the first woman chief justice in Pakistan‘s Balochistan High Court on September 2, 2018.

    4.71st Session of the World Health Organisation (WHO)Regional Committee in New Delhi.

Health Minister JP Nadda inaugurated 71st Session of the World Health Organisation(WHO) Regional Committee for South-East Asia in New Delhi. On September 3, 2018, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Shri J P Nadda inaugurated the ‘71st Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia,’ in  New Delhi.

   5.Draft rules for e-pharmacies to regulate online sale of medicines.

On September 3, 2018, the Health ministry notified that the online e-pharmacies will have to adhere to the set of new draft rules regarding selling of drugs through the internet.
