Oxford English Dictionary added word aiyoh and aiyah on 4 oct 2016.Cantonese dialects of Chinese and in Mandarin these words are credited. These words are inter-changable. These words represent the context and tone of situations like disgust, surprise, dismay, irritation, disappointment.

These words are in many variants like Tamil, Sinhalese. These are widely used in South Asian countries.

International Day of the Girl Child celebrated across the world

International Day of the Girl Child (IDGC) 2016 is celebrated on 11 oct 2016 with the theme of “Girl’s progress”. the theme is to call action for the  girl-relevant,  increased investment in collecting and analyzing girl-focused and sex-disaggregated data.

Supreme Court says Hindu son can divorce his wife if she tries to separate him from his parents

On 6 october 2016 Supreme court takes a decision that states a Hindu son can divorce his wife she tries to seperate him from his parents. The court says that it is the  ‘pious obligation’ of a son to maintain his parents.

Russsian changed Un resolution of stop bombing in Aleppo,Syria

On 8 oct october Russia vetoed the decision of UN council of stopping bombing in ALEPPO,Syria. The draft was accepted by France and Spain and won 11 votes whereas Russsia And Venezuala was against it.

It was the 5th time that Moscow veto the decision of UN to end ther 5 year war in Syria.

Great Ball of Fire detected by Hubble Space Technology

In the first week of october 2016 NASA’s Hubble Space Technology Technology detected Great ball of fire. In size the balls are as larger as the twice of mars , were being ejected near a dying star.

The speed of these balls are so fast as they can travel the distance between the earth and the moon in 30 minutes.

China Open Men’s Singles 2016 won by Andy Murray

On 9 October 2016 at the National Tennis Center in Beijing, China Andy Murray won the 2016 China Open Men’s Singles title.

In this game Andy Murray (world number 2) beated Grigor Dimitrov by 6–4, 7–6 in straight sets.

China Open Women’s singles 2016 won by Agnieszka Radwanska

On 9 October 2016 at the National Tennis Center in Beijing, China Agnieszka Radwanska won the 2016 China Open Women’s Singles title.

In this game Agnieszka Radwanska defeated Johanna Konta 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets.

India’s first centre for International Arbitration in Mumbai inaugrated by Fadnavis

Devendra Fadnavis Maharashtra Chief Minister inaugurated India’s first centre for international arbitration in Mumbai on 8 oct 2016.

The Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA) is being headed by CEO Madhukeshwar Desai.

Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences 2016 won by Oliver Hart and Bengt Holmstrom

On 10 October 2016  Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel awarded Oliver Hart and Bengt Holmstrom for their contributions to contract theory.
